For those new to Arteen Furteens, let me take you on a crash course through AFT's history.
You see, it all started long ago when someone had this brilliant idea of setting a fairy tale in the modern times.
That Fairy tale was Cinderella and that someone set about writing a script about a young girl named Ella who had just joined her new school, where her evil step-sisters are the most popular kids and they try to make life hell for Ella.
But Ella finds her place in a rebellious dance crew, the Misfits. With the help of her new-found friends, and two mis-matched Fairy Godparents, Ella learns how to stand up for her rights, take what's hers and along the way, find true love.
Many people believe that the magic was on stage. But the real magic was backstage, behind closed doors and drawn curtains...
"CinderElla: Revamped!" took a bunch of normal kids and gave them a chance to find out what they were really capable of. Many of our members never knew they could act, sing or dance til CinderElla: Revamped! Somewhere in this long journey, everyone of us fell in love with what we were doing.
In the middle of all these, the Arteen Furteens Arts Company was formed with the aim of promoting Arts amongst like minded individuals who have yet to unleash their potential. Planning and executing many projects and events even after the end of CinderElla: Revamped!, the members of Arteen Furteens developed their skills and cultivated a strong love for Art in all its myriad forms.
Now, almost a year after CinderElla: Revamped!, its time again for another journey to start. This time, with new songs, new lines, a whole new cast and crew, and a TAKE-ON-THE-WORLD attitude, Arteen Furteens is set to go on its next great journey...
